Huntington Estates Seahawks  Swim Team The Huntington Estates Seahawks Swim Team is a summer recreational swim program and member of the Naperville Swim Conference that offers high-quality coaching and technique instruction for swimmers of all abilities, aged 5-18 years old. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability while developing a healthy competitive spirit, self-discipline, and sportsmanship -- all while having fun and making friends! Everyone on the team gets to participate at every meet, and every Seahawk is important and valued. SWIM TEAM SKILLS REQUIRED TO COMPETE ON THE HEBT SWIM TEAM: Swimmers age 6 and Under must be able to swim one length of freestyle and one length of backstroke unassisted** prior to joining the team.  Swimmers age 8 and under must be able to swim one length of freestyle and one length of backstroke unassisted** prior to joining the team. Swimmers age 9 and under must be able to swim two lengths of freestyle and two lengths of backstroke and breast OR butterfly unassisted** prior to joining the team.  **Unassisted means no pulling on the lane lines or touching the bottom of the pool. While it is our goal that swimmers will improve stroke and technique as a result of the practices, the practices are not individually focused and are in no way a substitute for swim lessons.
